A Day of Rejuvenation at World Spa Brooklyn

Earlier this May, I had the pleasure of spending a day at World Spa in Brooklyn with 10 inspiring women from my mastermind group. Our goal was simple: to relax, recharge, and reconnect—with ourselves and each other.
From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear this wasn’t just another spa day. The atmosphere was serene and thoughtfully designed, with relaxing spaces and intricate details throughout. I was especially drawn to the stunning tilework in the Moroccan and Turkish hammams—an artful blend of beauty and tradition that transported us to another world.
While some of the women enjoyed massages, facials, and head treatments (and raved about them!), I chose to immerse myself in the many global wellness experiences available. I spent hours moving between thermal rooms, captivated by the contrasting sensations—especially the alternating hot and cold onsens. The deliberate exposure to heat and cold not only pushed the boundaries of comfort, it awakened every sense and left me feeling physically reset.
One of the highlights of the day were the sauna and Grand Banya shows. These aren’t your typical spa experiences—they’re immersive, intense, and unforgettable. Each show was an intentional experience in heat and ritual, designed to stimulate, detoxify, and ground. It was a powerful reminder of the longevity benefits of controlled heat and cold exposure.
We refueled with fresh, flavorful food—my carrot juice was healthy and refreshing, and the World Spa green bowl with shrimp was perfectly balanced and nourishing.
But what stood out most was the experience of doing it all together. There’s something deeply restorative about carving out time with friends for rest and renewal. We left feeling more grounded, more grateful, and more committed to weaving wellness into our everyday lives.
If you’re looking for a day of true escape and reconnection—body, mind, and soul—World Spa delivers.
